Naomi Grill is Madrid’s first kosher restaurant, offering an international menu with strong North African influences. This exciting addition to Madrid’s vibrant restaurant scene is not only popular among the capital’s Sephardic community but is perfect for fans of Moroccan cuisine. The interior has recently been redecorated and is clean and crisp with smooth white linens and authentic artwork brought in from the markets of Tangiers. Naomi Grill prides itself in its assortment of Tajines, a stew like dish cooked in an earthenware vessel. Try the chicken tajine cooked with saffron, prunes and almonds. Couscous is also one of the specialties here and the lamb couscous is a strong favourite. Other favourites include the keftas (small meatballs with cumin and red pepper) and the brochettes of beef, chicken or liver. The wine list here is of course fully kosher and the desserts are the traditional baklava. Naomi Grill is a great opportunity to experience some amazing cuisine and is truly something different in the heart of Spain’s capital.
