La Castafiore is an exceptional Madrid restaurant found in the famous La Letras area of the city, where opera singing waiting staff serve first class Mediterranean cuisine. This unique restaurant is a big hit in Madrid, where each night plays host to an operatic spectacle, all laid on by the amazing opera singing waiting staff. If that wasn’t enough, La Castafiore is also acts as an art gallery, where the work of artist Camilo Porta is exhibited throughout the restaurant. This revolutionary restaurant opened its doors 7 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. Of course, the food is just as important as the show and La Castafiore doesn’t disappoint, the excellent Mediterranean menu will have your mouth watering. Starters include a delicious salad of langoustines and salmon followed by mains like grilled hake with caviar or veal fillet steak with foie of oca. La Castafiore is open at lunchtime and offers a superb set menu, but if you want to catch the opera singing staff, the show begins at 9.30pm and at 10pm at the weekend.
